Participants from diverse backgrounds, including Italy, France, and Turkey, gathered in Antalya, one of Turkey’s most beautiful cities, to engage in a week-long immersive training program. The event’s main objective was to enhance the quality of digital education, focusing on instructional design, digital media, and the integration of new tools and technologies to facilitate online learning.
Participants, hailing from various countries, found themselves immersed in an environment that was as much about cultural interaction as it was about educational advancement. The setting of Antalya Kemer, renowned for its natural beauty, added a significant dimension to the event. The training offered a unique blend of learning and cultural exchange for its participants and focused on the diverse facets of online education, providing them with invaluable insights and new perspectives on digital learning platforms. This experience went beyond mere academic learning; it was an enriching journey of personal development for each attendee.
This combination of educational activities and cultural immersion fostered an environment where long-term international friendships could blossom. The project thus served as a platform for cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, reinforcing the idea that learning is a holistic process encompassing both academic and interpersonal growth.
The project also hosted a dissemination event at the Antalya Kaş Youth Center, where traditional activities like archery, darts, and stone painting, coupled with a city tour, added a unique dimension to the learning experience. This event was an opportunity for volunteers, members of the Old School Green Association, and participants from France and Italy to share their experiences and insights gained from the project.
